This custom woodworking project was built to be used as a baby changing table to go with a crib I made until it is no longer needed for that task. Then will be used as a dresser and will still go with the crib or when the crib is converted into a bed.
The dresser and mirror are made with oak and cherry. The mirror, top and drawers are edged with cherry that came from a tree in the customers yard.
The customer had this built to go with one of the cribs I built for her expecting daughter.
The daughter has moved a few states away and having wood incorporated in the project from a tree where she grew up added a special touch.
It only needs the pad with sides to be used as a changing table.
Cherry band around top cherry around the drawer fronts. Here you can see the cherry around the mirror. The rest of the frame is made from oak.
